MOSS PDF iFilter
I have a question regarding Adobe’s PDF iFilter and MOSS 2007. I have the iFilter installed and everything is working great… except for PDFs that are returned through a wrapper page.
Anyone know how to get the following to work with Adobe’s PDF iFilter and MOSS 2007?
My URLs end up being in the following format: http://sitename.com/wrapper.asp?file=\\server\share\nameofpdf.pdf
The wrapper page essentially grabs a PDF and displays it. This is used because some PDFs are in a location that users can not access, but the web application can. The wrapper allows the user of the site to read the PDF they wouldn’t normally have access to.
From what I can find the above format will be recognized as an ASP file. Therefore the PDF iFilter won’t run.
Again, anyone know how to get the PDF iFilter working for this case?
